Thought you all might like to know that Page's guitar instruction DVD, Sonic Shapes, is available now from Hal Leonard. For those who aren't guitar players, there's a bunch of live Helmet footage thrown in too...and a cover photo by ME! ....so, no arguments, get it!

As I understand it, it's Page's own composition; possibly cooked up for the purposes of the DVD.

So this is a computer DVD, or for a DVD player with add'tl computer content (the PDF's)? If it's the latter does anyone knows whether it's region code free?

As far as I know, it should run in DVD equipped computers as well as regular DVD players, as with a movie or whatever. I imagine you'd need a computer to view the PDFs, although I wouldn't be surprised if there are DVD players that will display PDFs, too. Don't know about region, I'm afraid.

If you click on the "Closer Look" link, you get a preview clip of Page doing jazzy triplets ...which I'm sure will allow one to build up to fiery Helmet solos...
