Iron Maiden - Rod Laver Arena Melbourne Feb 6

Initially missed out on tix for these guys (because i was trying to get tix for RATM and missed out on those too) but a buddy of mine who got tix suddenly got shipped off to Iraq before the concert so he swung his ticket my way ($150 a ticket mind you).

What can i say?...they put on a brilliant show...yeah its a little cheesy and the sound is a little dated (after being reproduced by a million other bands) but they just rocked out for just over 2 hours solid.
These guys might be eligable for retirement homes but i can safely say that they have a lot more energy (especially Bruce Dickinson and Janick Gers) than alot of other bands that i have seen who are half their age or more.
The stage production was awesome...the sound was top quality...and a giant Eddie came out on to the stage at the end...what was there to not to like?
