2005-10-03 Falls Church, VA - THE HD IS BACK:)

Postby 21st Century Jesus » Fri Nov 10, 2006 11:32 am

I guess a few homies remember that story with the guy who filmed the falls church show and had some weird computer problems afterwards, so I sent him my HD and he would put the stuff on it and return it to me. something else went wrong and the contact broke down earlier this year, I thought he had decided to keep the HD or whatever... 2 weeks ago I stumbled across those old emails and tried to contact him again... and today I just got my HD back here :)

gimme a bit to integrate the HD, sort the data and render a DVD from it, however the happy end version of the story is back!

Yay!
Funny, only a few days ago I stumbled across the 30mb low quality sample of the show and thought how a pity it is that we never got the full quality thing.
But now I guess Christmas is a little early this year :D .

Hey, glad to hear he wasn't ripping you off after all!
Looking forward to seeing the results...

That would be cool, and hopefully it will inspire some people to put more Helmet on there. I know there are some people active on there that are holding on to a decent Helmet stash.

Sounds great, why don't you upload it to Zomb Torrents? http://zombtracker.the-zomb.com/

It's a torrent site only for live recordings etc, they really need more Helmet stuff there =) I'll keep seeding it for a while if it's good and stuff =)

its very difficult to upload files of 1GB size to an ftp, the upload often gets interrupted and resuming might give errors. torrent makes more sense for material of this size.
someone else might make a DivX out of it and upload that later for example, however i recommend the better quality

for those wondering: its technically on now, however seems that no one can connect yet, and its still not listed on dime... so I guess it will take a bit longer til it goes active, prolly the dime stuff needs to verify first. gonna go to bed soon but leaving the comp on and seeding is enabled.

DVD

Postby darko@totalgeek » Sun Nov 12, 2006 2:26 am

I've got a demo of COMPLETE that I've been trying to upload to the ftp for about a month or so, without luck.

I'm only on dial up at 31.2 Kbps, so upload a DVD to the ftp is out of the question.

If anyone wants a hard copy posted to them drop me an email.

For anyone that has seen the DVD

Who's the second guitarist?
Traynor must have had the night off.

Guitar : Page
Bass: Jeremy C
Guitar#2: ???? old Ghandi member perhaps
Drums: John T

It's better if the main pimp himself just gets on the torrent and then puts it on the FTP if he wants to, it's nearly impossible to upload a file of that size when the upload speeds are around 20kbs. It'll break at one time or another.

Anyway what's the demo of Complete? Is it any different from the actual released version on the JM soundtrack? I'd love to hear it, you could always send it to my email if the FTP isn't working for ya:

leo -a- kemosabe.fi

I'll upload it to the FTP then.

Anthony Truglio on guitar. Page announces him at 30 min. Chris was doing stuff with Gayvin at that point of time.
