Page Hamilton Tests Prototype Fryette Mini Guitar Amp
Posted by Helmet on Oct 13 2013
The guitar nerds among you will know that Page is a long-time friend of Fryette Amplification. Their 120 watt Pittbull Ultra-Lead has been the foundation of Page’s guitar tone for well over a decade.
Well it’s not all about wattage, and to prove the point, Steven Fryette has been working on a 1 watt – yes, that’s one watt! – mini amplifier, the Valvulator GP/DI, designed specifically for situations where you can’t or don’t need to play loud.
Here’s what happened when Page dropped by Fryette’s workshop to put the prototype through its paces, Helmet style.
Fryette Amplification are currently running a Kickstarter campaign to get this thing funded and into production, and you can back the project with as little as $1 – yes, that’s one dollar!
