Like I said a few posts back, they're planning some pre-release goodies. There's some good shit coming.

My buddy heard one of their new songs played live from Rock On The Range on Hard Drive XL tonight. I missed it and am not sure if it can be found to replay. Cool that they played it on national radio none the less.

Oh damn, someone HAD to tape this...!? I'm guessing this new song they played on the radio will be the first we'll hear soon anyway. ASSUMING we hear something new soon :)
In the meantime, Betty...strap it on. Size matters.

Yes, it's been put back. BUT... brace yourselves for an unexpected treat. Imminently.

I assume this imminent treat is the Betty re-issue coming out later this month? Pretty cool. Are the bonus tracks the "Betty b-sides" (Thick, Pariah, and Flushings)?

Also registered for the two free live tracks.

Just to let anyone who hasn't already done this know, the two tracks (Milquetoast and Tic) are from July 8, 2006 (Warped Tour in SF). I was expecting something more recent, but oh well. They sound good, although maybe familiar.

Also, the Betty re-issue says it's out on June 22nd, which of course is next week. Is this to be on CD, I assume, and not just an MP3 "album"? And if so, available at stores or just online? Thanks.

Does the setback of the new cd have anything to do with the Betty reissue? Is this a part of a management strategi or has the production process just been longer than expected?

Shit yeah, that riff just rules the hell outta Monochrome and Size Matters! ...At least it feels like that now

Seriously, it does sound like something very inspired and I'm BEYOND happy to see Dan playing the take and maybe actually making his voice heard on the album. I honestly think that is what Page needs, a little "outsider" touch 8)

Oh man, my anticipation towards this new album grows beyond believe...GIVE IT!!!!

Just bumped into the clip in FB...

Gotta echo worstcase on this one. That was fresh and still very helmet-ique. I'm now truly excited!

On a side note, a big thumbs up for the Helmet camp and BA for getting the interweb social media content thing going! Now it feels like there's more than 2 people actually interested in keeping the band afloat.

Still waiting for a full sneak preview track, maybe just for us forumites ;)?
